L’Oro d’Italia® is an Italian national award that aims to promote the culture of extra virgin olive oil, make it known, appreciate its characteristics, and improve its quality. L’Oro d’Italia® compares oils in the wide range of variability of “extra virgin”, “DOP” and “PGI”, “monocultivar”, “organic”. In the anonymity guaranteed by a public official, the Jury evaluates the oils made up of national and foreign professional tasters.
